Megan uses her collegiate experience, 8 years of training expertise and nursing experience to guide others in living and leading healthy lives through fitness/nutrition/behavior changes.
The mission of MegHenWoods Fitness is to educate others, using a holistic approach to health/fitness, by incorporating guidance/education in nutrition, exercise/physical activity and behavior change(s). We believe in training our clients for a lifetime of healthy habits.
We understand that adapting new fitness and lifestyle habits are difficult and often times fail. Our goal is to change your view on fitness, so that it becomes part of who you are. We strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits daily, you will be able to obtain a healthy lifestyle.
Megan Woods began her fitness journey right after graduating from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2010. After training at the Northside YMCA (Oklahoma City) and returning to nursing school, Megan began expanding the services that she provided: group sessions, partner sessions, fitcamps/bootcamps, online training, nutritional and exercise guidance through social media, etc. After 4 years of working full-time as a nurse and doing fitness on the side, Megan decided that it was time to follow her passion for fitness and completely commit to building her own fitness brand. In the midst of doing so, she gained a lifelong partner in Donovan Woods and now carries a new last name. With so many people knowing her as Megan Henley (maiden name) and the many people that would soon know her as Megan Woods, she decided to merge both names. Being that Megan has a very strong bond with her family, she wanted to honor both her siblings and their late father, Winford Henley, by keeping her maiden name as part of her business/brand. From this, the name/brand MegHenWoods Fitness was born.
